Welcome to our Silver Miner Blog~
The Center for Lifelong Learning at The University of Texas at El Paso was created by UTEP President Diana Natalicio as an outreach to the retired community of El Paso and Cd. Juarez in 1989.
Today the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UTEP extends President Natalicio’s vision in providing learning opportunities for senior adults, 50 years of age and older on UTEP’s scenic campus.
On this website, El Paso area senior adults will find numerous opportunities to become involved, engage their minds, elevate their spirits and join others with like interests in activities toward healthy aging.
In the Third Age of our lives, this is the school for our second fifty years.
No prior academic credentials are required. No exams will be administered, no papers will be assigned, grades given, nor diplomas and certifcates issued.
If you are over fifty and have an intellectual curiosity to satisfy, click here and join others just like you.
FOR INFORMATION, OR TO JOIN OLLI AT UTEP, CALL 747-6280 OR 747-8848 DURING OFFICE HOURS, 1 TO 5 PM OR LEAVE A MESSAGE ANY TIME FOR A RETURN CALL.
